Our mission is calling attention to the growing challenge of preterm birth with rare congenital diseases and its significant impact on the children, families and our society. We want to reduce the enormous health and social inequalities linked to birth of babies with rare congenital diseases.

Our work is dedicated to improving the situation of mothers and newborn infants with rare congenital diseases in Namibia across the full spectrum of care, promoting and protecting the right to the best start in life.

The SONDE FOUNDATION envisions that every newborn with that rare condition in Namibia receives the care and support they need to thrive. We are committed to providing education, resources, and advocacy to ensure that a newborn in Namibia has the best possible start in life.
